The Celtics are really in need of a center. Currently the Celtics don’t really have a true center on their roster. During the Celtics playoff run Kevin Garnett mostly played center but he is really a true power forward. Garnett’s future with the Celtics is uncertain.
The Celtics could also really use an athletic wing player or a shooting guard if Ray Allen leaves in free agency. Sure, Ray is a great shooter but he lacks athletic ability. It’s been a while since the Celtics have had a real athletic player on the wing.
With the future of some many players uncertain the Celtics will need a lot of quality players for depth at almost every position. Right now the only sure thing for the Celtics is Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce. The Celtics have 2 first round picks.
The Nets have a disappointing season last year and to make matters worse they only have one pick in this year’s NBA draft. That pick is also the 57th overall pick. I am sure the Nets are...

We’ve all witnessed the movie scene where the scorned lover runs off and his/her partner, normally after a moment of introspection, chases in pursuit. Rain normally pounds from the sky, for production value, and maybe the two lovers argue once they meet each other on the side of the road, or maybe at an airport, with an airplane awaiting to whisk the scorned lover away. They...
Ryan Hollins played 5 1/2 seasons in the NBA and never found a big man he clicked with quite like Kevin Garnett. Hollins showed almost immediate improvement when he landed in Boston on March 23, meshing with Garnett and forming an occasionally impenetrable defensive duo in the post. The 17-year veteran even went to unusual lengths to mentor Hollins, 27, a gesture the younger player...
There was a problem connecting to Twitter.I’m happy the Celtics picked up another draft pick from OKC. I definitely am. But I want to lock that trade into a storage room and never look at it or think about it ever again. Why must things continue to remind me of that trade? And why am I STILL not over it, even as Kendrick Perkins struggled drastically in the NBA playoffs? Ugh...

Going forward, the Heat may look to add to their wing position to make it easier to have James play more minutes at one of big man spots. There are some veteran point guards like Nash, Miller or even Jason Kidd out there but the Heat likely have more of a need for a shooter. Adding Nash, for example, would create incredible star power but it would also require the Heat to potentially...
Kevin Garnett has been in contact with Danny Ainge since the Celtics were eliminated in the Eastern Conference finals.
The Celtics have a lot of needs. They really could use some size to help their horrible rebounding situation. I mean, imagine how different things would have been if they could have been at least an average rebounding team?
You can also say “imagine how different things would have been had they had a reliable scorer off the bench?” Which is why the Celtics are among...
With the NBA Draft days away, the mystique of the “mock
draft” is coming to a peak. So, to
save you the hassle of going to those NBA mock draft websites that you only go
to once a year, I’ve come up with a solution. I have taken the liberty of reading
30 different mock drafts and have compiled a list of the top-five most drafted
players by our Boston Celtics...
The NBA settled a dispute centered around Jeff Green's medical condition by awarding the Boston Celtics a second-round pick in 2013 from the Thunder. Green was traded in 2011 in the deal that landed Kendrick Perkins in Oklahoma City and Nate Robinson plus the Thunder's first-round pick in Thursday's draft in Boston. Green missed the 2011-12 season only after he failed...

“Your wit bores me” -Nate in Australia On the heels of that epically cutting insult, Careless Whispers has no choice but to return tonight at 9 eastern. Calvin and Matt will discuss whether or not Celtics fans are really as committed as Lakers fans, LeBron’s legacy and whether or not to amnesty Kobe. Also, Calvin [...]
1.Anthony Davis Kentucky Fr. 6’10” – It’s hard to image that just a couple years ago in high school Davis was a guard, now he has grown into a power forward. His game reminds people of Kevin Garnett. Davis has great length and size, and he just needs to add some muscle. Davis is an outstanding athlete with great quickness and leaping ability. Offensively he has...
