NBA Free Agency started today, July 1st, and the Bucks will be quiet. With no cap flexibility inherited from the former regime, the Bucks have to again sit Free Agency out. The last time they were involved was the year they signed Bobby Simmons, which proved to be a disaster.But, this should be the last year the Bucks have to remain on the sideline during this important time of the off-season. In the NBA, you draft and trade players with the hope of accumulating enough viable pieces to be competitive or at least have assets to make bigger moves. Free Agency, in the NBA, lets teams make bigger jumps up the competitive balance ladder more-so than any other sport. A team can go out and lure in a big fish, Joe Johnson for the Hawks, Elton Brand for the Sixers, Baron Davis for the Clippers, that can make a difference. Two of the three above did not work out, but the signings alone create excitement for a franchises fan-base. Imagine if the Bucks had the flexibility to bring in Trev...
