Found September 10, 2012 on Waiting For Next Year:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reportedly agreed to terms with free agent swingman Alonzo Gee as well as undrafted free agent forward Kevin Jones.

Gee, per The Plain Dealer’s Mary Schmitt Boyer, agreed to a multi-year contract. While terms were not disclosed, it is assumed that the deal is somewhere in the neighborhood of the three-year, $9.8 million dealwhich was reported during the middle of August.

In his first season as a primary rotation player with the Cavaliers, Gee averaged 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, starting in 31 of the team’s 66 contests. The Cavs have also signed CJ Miles, formerly of the Utah Jazz, who is expected to compete with Gee for a starting position with the 2012-13 team.

Jones, the 6-foot-8 forward out of West Virginia, did everything possible as a senior to earn spot with an NBA franchise by carrying the Mountaineers to the NCAA tournament, but went undrafted and subsequently landed in the lap of the Cavaliers, being linked to the team immediately following the June draft. Jones’ agent Bill Neff told HoopsHype that the forward will get a partially guaranteed deal.
