The realization wore in as each quarter was erased.
Russell Westbrook was in charge.
Kevin Durant could pop in and out whenever he wanted.
Oklahoma City? One of the most athletic, aggressive and talented teams the NBA has to offer. And far too much for the backsliding Jazz to handle Friday at EnergySolutionsArena.
Punished by yet another speedy and fearless point guard, Utah fell 101-87 to the Thunder.

BEST OF MAXIM
As most NBA fans know, Thunder guard Russell Westbrook is one of the most athletic guards in the league and he showed off his athleticism last night against the Sacramento Kings.
Watch as he throws down this nasty one-handed slam dunk:
The Thunder took on the Sacramento Kings Thursday night in Sac. The Kings are a young athletic team still trying to find identity. The firing of former head coach Paul Westphal seemed to do a lot of team moral especially for the teams talented but at times immature star, DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins. Hyped for the [...]

Check out this video from last night's Thunder-Kings game. Russell Westbrook, recently extended after being maligned during last year's playoffs for taking too many shots, gets a nice lane up the middle and absolutely destroys a dunk. Look closely at the video, and you&...

Golden State Warriors’ SG Monta Ellis scored a monstrous 48 including almost 40 in the first half.
The Golden State Warriors in many ways are a similar team...
Russell Westbrook scored 28 points and Kevin Durant had 19 points to help the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Utah Jazz 101-87 on Friday night. The Jazz seemed determined to limit Durant's offense -- he had only 10 field goal attempts -- but Westbrook found extra room to drive to the basket and created some fast breaks with five steals.

At times OKC Thunder guard Russell Westbrook can get buckets with the best of them and is clearly one of the most athletic point guards in the NBA (Westbrook’s vertical jump was measured at 36.5″ at the 2008 NBA combine). That superior athleticism was on display Thursday night against the Kings: Westbrook is listed at [...]
