The Sacramento Kings could very well let guard Tyreke Evans leave to join the New Orleans Pelicans, and in his place they’re going hard after free agent small forward Andre Iguodala. Late Tuesday night the Kings offered Iguodala a four-year, $56 million deal and are now considered the front-runners for the 29-year-old.
Iguodala has garnered interest from all over the NBA since free agency opened on Monday, and he has already met with the Detroit Pistons. Meanwhile the Denver Nuggets reportedly offered Iguodala a five-year, $63 million deal on Monday in an attempt to bring him back into the fold after he opted out of his contract with the team a few weeks ago.
The Pelicans are also interested in Iguodala, as are the Golden State Warriors, who probably don’t have the kind of money it would take to sign him.
The Kings need to figure out what they’re going to do with Evans first. If they agree to a deal with Iguodala, then Evans will be gone. The four-year, $44 million offer sheet New...

After making a huge offer to free agent Andre Iguodala and announcing he was their “top priority” of the offseason, the Sacramento Kings have abruptly pulled their offer to the prized swingman.
