Protecting a 14-game winning streak, the Boston Celtics earned a hard fought 100-91 victory over Jerry Sloane's always scrappy Utah Jazz. The home win raised the Celtics record to 23-2 and extended their winning streak to 15 games. Most Celtics games these days are dull affairs because few teams in the NBA are able to play with the Celtics. In the Eastern Conference, one can argue that only LeBron's Cavaliers, the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic have a legitimate shot at beating the Celtics. The Atlanta Hawks recently ended the Cavs 11-game winning streak with a 97-92 win in Atlanta. Atlanta (15-9) will host the Celtics on Wednesday night and the young and athletic Hawks have proven to be a tough match-up for The Green. Of the two Celtics losses, one is to the Denver Nuggets who play a style of ball similar to the Atlanta Hawks.
