NEW YORK -- Deron Williams had 20 points and nine assists and Brook Lopez added 16 points, leading the Brooklyn Nets to a 97-77 victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday night at the Barclays Center. The win enabled the Nets (27-18) to snap a two-game losing streak, winning for the eighth straight game at home. It's the longest home win streak for the Nets' franchise since 2006, when they won nine in a row. The loss was the sixth straight for the Magic (14-30), who lost all four games to Brooklyn this season. The win also enabled Nets interim coach P.J. Carlesimo to improve his record to 13-4 since replacing Avery Johnson last month. It gave the Nets 11 wins in January, their second 11-win month this season, joining November as 11-win months. It's the first time in franchise history that the Nets won 11 games in two months in the same season. The Nets outscored the Magic 23-4 in the first six minutes of the fourth quarter, blowing the game open in the process. Orl...

The Nets hope Brook Lopez, Deron Williams, or Joe Johnson will be named to the team as Rajon Rondo's replacement.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Like Brooklyn bullies, the Nets love picking on the little guys.
They beat Orlando four times this season and are 17-0 against teams that were under .500 when they played them.

And as far as the to five plays plays go, simply throw down a thunderous dunk...

P.J. Carlesimo is convinced after a month on the job: The Brooklyn Nets are a winning team.
He still needs to see, even after one of the best months in franchise history, if they can consistently be one against the teams already at that level.
Well, here comes their chance.
The Nets begin a tough three-game stretch Wednesday night against LeBron James and the NBA champion Miami...
Keith Bogans and Joe Johnson lit up the Magic from three-point range tonight, combining for 25 points on 6-11 shooting from behind the arc
Another poor third quarter made the chances of an easy Nets win much more slim, but ultimately wasn't bad enough to allow the lowly Orlando Magic into seizing the lead from the home team tonight at the Barclays Center. In sweeping...
