Found March 11, 2013 on Atlantic Twine:
PLAYERS: Deron Williams
TEAMS: Brooklyn Nets
Coming into the game winners of their last 3 games, the Brooklyn Nets will look to extend that winning streak to 4 games against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia. A win would mark the first time the Nets have been 12 games above .500 since 4/19/06, almost 7 years. The last time the Nets were at the Barclay’s, on Friday night, Deron Williams broke the NBA record for three-pointers in a half with 9, and tied the NBA mark for a game with 11. He followed up that 42 point performance on Saturday in Atlanta against the Hawks with 17 points and 6 assists, and has been on quite a roll of late. It will be very important to pick up some victories within the next few games for the Nets, as a week from today they will begin an 8-game, 17-day road trip. After the Sixers tonight, the Nets play the Hornets and Hawks at home before hitting the road.

Video: Brooklyn Nets Brook Lopez humiliates his brother Robin Lopez

The Brooklyn Nets Brook Lopez proved that twin brothers often fight with a little bit more intensity than brothers that are separated by a year or more.  Brook’s Nets took on Robin’s Suns on Tuesday and when Nets point guard Deron Williams dished the rock to Brook he had no problem dunking all over his brother in front of an arena full of fans. Talk about a conversation piece...

Brook Lopez dunks over twin brother Robin

There may not have been some big, gangly, awkward fights in the Lopez household when twin NBA centers Brook and Robin were growing up. Brook, now with the Nets, has averaged 17.7 points and seven rebounds whereas Robin has averaged 6.9 points and 3.7 boards.  Brook also had the upper hand in this slam in which brother Robin was slow to react to his brother crashing down on him....

Video: Brook Lopez throws down dunk over twin brother Robin

Tweet   The New Orleans Hornets were in New York Tuesday for a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets and their only appearance in Barclays Center this season. More importantly, it meant Nets center Brook Lopez would be playing host to his twin brother, and Hornets center, Robin. During the third quarter Brook was a bit [...]

a good week for the Brooklyn Nets

It has been a good week in Brooklyn. Not only have the Nets won three in a row (pretty convincingly, I might add; average margin of 17 points) and D-Will had a historic game, but the Pacer, Bulls and Celtics lost Sunday, Hawks have lost two in a row, and the Knicks are hurting (lost Amar’e for the remainder of the regular season while Melo is also dealing with an injury). The defense...

The next time the Lopez clan gets together you know this play is going to come up. Tuesday night the Brooklyn Nets and New Orleans Hornets had a game. Game 63 Recap: Nets 93, Hawks 80. The One Where The Hawks Were Bad, and the Nets Were Just Good ...

Look at that determination! And forehead!   If I told you that the Nets only scored 93 points last night and gave up 10 to Johan "Beaker" Petro alone, you might think that they lost last night's contest with the Atlanta Hawks. Au contraire, as Brooklyn actually held the Hawks as a team to 80 in Atlanta last night, leading to the Nets' 3rd-straight...

Nets-76ers Preview

The Brooklyn Nets seem to be gaining some confidence during a soft portion of their schedule. The key has been their defense - and one of the league's lowest-scoring teams doesn't seem likely to stand in their way. The Nets will try for their fourth straight victory on Monday night when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers, who have lost 12 of 13. Brooklyn (37-26) bounced...

Eye on the Enemy: 2 losses last night help Boston

With 20 games left in the season and playoff seedings now becoming a major story line, it’s time to take the occasional look at how the competition is doing. Last night the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, both ahead of Boston in the division/East, took losses.  The Nets got down big at halftime but rode Deron Williams (27 points, 13 assists) to stay in the game in the second...
