Found May 14, 2013 on Turn On The Knicks:
A few final things to yell about heading into Knicks/Pacers tonight 1. REBOUND! – Don’t go down to the Pacers in a wave of second chance points. Somebody get a body on Roy Hibbert and Lance Stephenson. Tyson Chandler is a leader in the locker room so if he wants to talk to the press about his teammates in a critical way…fine…but just back up those words on the court. 2. SHUMP! - The collective sigh of relief you heard from the tri-state area 20 minutes ago was in reaction to Iman Shumpert suiting up and starting tonight after having his knee checked out today. Let’s hope he is smart about the injury and if something feels wrong, he doesn’t push it too far. Yet let’s hope even more that he is actually fine because the Knicks are already dealing with a sick JR Smith and a Jason Kidd without a jump shot. 3. SHOOT! - If the Knicks are going down, it better be with Carmelo Anthony taking more than 16 shots. Nobody is saying he needs to take 31 awful shots to prove his point but he needs...

Is Tyson Chandler Justified In Calling Out Knicks Teammates?

Though he did earn himself a spot on the NBA's "All-Defensive" First Team Monday afternoon, Tyson Chandler's struggles in the postseason have arguably been more obvious than anyone else's.There's no doubt the big man has had a tough time containing the Pacers' Roy Hibbert throughout the Knicks' series against the Pacers. He hasn't done much to...

Carmelo on Chandler Saying Knicks are Selfish: “I Don’t Know What He’s Talking About”

After shooting 35 percent and scoring only 71 points during game 3 against the Pacers, the New York Knicks find themselves looking in the mirror yawning for an identity on the court as they approach game 4 tonight. While everyone was showering their special lady for Mother’s Day, Tyson Chandler was busy watching tapes, and vocalizing what he feels is the issue with the Knicks,...

Roy Hibbert shares picture of man with a goat outside a restaurant

I don’t know what it is with Roy Hibbert, but this guy seems to keep encountering the weirdest things and sharing them on Twitter. The Indiana Pacers center tweeted a picture of a man standing on the sidewalk with a pet goat after his team’s 93-82 win over the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Hibbert shared his objection with the farm animal being next to a big street with nice cars...

Tyson Chandler calls Knicks too selfish

The offense of the New York Knicks has gone cold lately. The Knicks suddenly find themselves down 2-1 to the Indiana Pacers “I watched the tape myself and there’s open looks,” Chandler said after practice Sunday. “We have to be willing passers. You have to sacrifice yourself sometimes for the betterment of the team, for the betterment of your teammates. So when you drive in...

Tyson Chandler: Knicks offense is ‘too selfish’

Let’s be honest, the New York Knicks were looking way beyond Indiana Pacers when the series began. They had no idea how difficult, nor how good they were as a team. Through the first three games, with the exception of one freakish quarter in Game 2, the Pacers have easily outplayed the earlier favored Knicks. Carmelo Anthony is struggling on offense, and doesn’t appear interested...

Roy Hibbert Photographs Another Weird Thing Outside A Fine Restaurant

We’d like to welcome you to this week’s installment of “Eats And Tweets: The Fine Dining Adventures Of Roy Hibbert”. If you recall our most recent episode, the Pacers big man was on his way to dinner in Manhattan when he saw a classy gal relieving herself between two vehicles (Hibbert claimed she was pooping, I’d like to think she wasn’t). After the Pacers’ 93-82 win...

Roy Hibbert almost wore a monocle to a postgame press conference

These days, NBA postgame press conference fashion has been taken to some crazy extremes and over the weekend, Indiana Pacers Roy Hibbert came close to making an epic fashion choice. After the Pacers game three win over the New York Knicks, Hibbert planned to don one of the most rich-people accessories of all-time: a monocle. Check out the below tweet of Roy with his monocle courtesy...

Pacers’ Roy Hibbert Nearly Wore Monocle to Postgame News Conference, Was Talked Out of It (Photo)

This has been said before, but the NBA’s preoccupation with fashion has gotten out of control. Eyewear, in particular, has taken on an oddly meta presence at postgame news conferences, with everyone from LeBron James on down doing their best Clark Kent impression. If you’re Dwyane Wade, those glasses don’t even have lenses. So, of course, Pacers center Roy Hibbert recently...

Roy Hibbert has his moment

When the Portland Trail Blazers offered Roy Hibbert a max $58.4 million, four-year deal it seemed like it was asking a lot from a one-time All Star who had a strong start to the shortened 2012 season, but struggled to the end. Hibbert was improving and had become a good player, but perhaps not someone you throw a max contract at and build a team around. There were concerns when...

Carmelo Anthony responds to Tyson Chandler's 'selfish offense' claim

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony has responded to comments made by teammate Tyson Chandler insinuating that the team was playing selfishly on offense."I really don't want to go back and forth about that because I really don't know exactly what he was talking about. But if he feels that way, we're about to get together right now. We'll discuss that amongst...
MY BAD

Smith takes blame for Pacers series

Knicks guard J.R. Smith claims his poor play is the reason the team is down 3-1 in its series against the Pacers, saying, "I have to play more efficient ... It’s unacceptable."

Carmelo plans private talk with Tyson Chandler

New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony said Monday that he will have a private talk with Tyson Chandler over comments the center made on Sunday, when he said the team was playing selfishly on offense. “I really don’t want to go back and forth about that because I really don’t know

Melo on Tyson: “We’ll Discuss”

Carmelo Anthony said he would have a behind-closed-doors meeting with teammate Tyson Chandler about the defensive stalwart’s recent comments. Regarding the Knicks’ offensive strategy, Chandler had told reporters, “You have to sacrifice yourself sometimes for the betterment of the team,” insinuating New York had to be more willing passers. Hopefully that private conversation...

Photo by Brian Babineau/NBAE via Getty Images Avery Bradley and Tyson Chandler received what they deserve on Monday. Bradley, who finished with 1.3 steals per game, was the vocal point of the Boston Celtics 2012-13 season.
