Nuggets waive veteran center Jonas Valanciunas
The Nuggets are moving on from veteran center Jonas Valanciunas after just one season. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Denver has waived Valanciunas before Wednesday’s guarantee deadline, allowing the team to avoid paying the remaining $8 million on his $10 million salary for next season.
