That NBA Lottery Pick:
After coaching in the NBA for over fifteen seasons, Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl doesn't exactly like a certain team from Los Angeles.
During the Denver Nuggets media day, George who previously coached with the Seattle Supersonics and Milwaukee Bucks decided to inform the world that he hates the Lakers:
“I can’t deny that I just despise the Lakers,” Karl said Monday. “There’s a bigger (description) for it (that I can’t use in public). I’ve been beaten by them too many times. I didn’t expect them to be bad this season, but when they got Steve Nash, I can’t deny I was really upset.”

Denver, CO. The outlook for the upcoming Denver Nuggets season will undoubtedly be one of the most anticipated years in recent memory. The team showed a lot of toughness and resolve in their first round playoff series, and even though they didn’t come out on top, the Nuggets gave their fans plenty to be excited about. 2012-2013 is going to be an interesting year. There seems...
Wilson Chandler re-signed with the Denver Nuggets in 2011-2012 after spending time in China playing basketball, but his glory would be short-lived as he would injure his left hip and would miss the rest of the season; however, he is set to return this season, so how will he look for 2012-2013? We left off with the Denver Nuggets pushing top contender LA Lakers to the brink of defeat in the first round of the 2012 NBA playoffs. It was nothing short of spectacular for a bunch of mid-level guys who were considered to have little to no star power. But the youngsters made a push behind the splendid...
It seems like an eternity ago when Denver’s name was mentioned in the Dwight Howard trade, instantaneously sending many hearts in “OH MY GOD, PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN” mode — with me being included — with the talk of Andre Iguodala being sent to Denver. The trade that will — and it will — [...]The post Andre Iguodala: Bringing Defensive “Swagger” to Denver appeared...
“I think we’re the best team in the West,” said Ty Lawson. Yes, he was being serious. He continues on to say, “We’re so deep, so talented, so versatile . . . You can’t just game-plan for one person on this team. I think we’ll be No. 1 in the West.“
Will the Nuggets ameliorate their record from last season this year? Most definitely. Will they be a Top-3 team in...
The Denver Nuggets mean business in 2012-2013 and this was evident of many of their off-season workouts. Below is a highlight video courtesy of NuggetsTV on youtube. The post Video: Highlights of the Denver Nuggets Off-Season Workouts appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

Denver : NBA Draft Grade C+
(20) Evan Fournier, SG; (38) Quincy Miller, SF; (50) Izzet Turkyilmaz, PF/C
The Nuggets got the best international player in the draft but this was a very week draft for international players. I think the Nuggets reached for Fournier here. I didn’t even have him in my 1st round mock draft. Fournier is a very athletic wing player that is...
Al Gore is co-founder and chairman of the board at Current TV. He’s not a political strategist, and given this comment it’s easy to see why. The Denver altitude has often been used as a scapegoat for bad performances. Remember when the #8 seeded Denver Nuggets beat the #1 Seattle Supersonics in the first ever 8 over 1 matchup? Again some people blamed the altitude.
The Denver Nuggets have never been known for their fashion sense on the court. Over the years the team has worn a slew of uniforms that even the most tripped-out acid freak would deem over-the-top (See: here, here, here, and here).
Recently the team has taken to a simple powder blue uni that is unoffensive and rather pleasant. Clearly that had to change. On Monday the team...
