Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson left Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings with a sprained left ankle.
Lawson had 11 points, three assists and three rebounds in 15 minutes before he was injured. The team said he would not return.
The third-year guard entered Wednesday's game averaging 16.0 points and 6.7 assists - both career highs.
