You can't go too long without hearing another complaint about Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins. The latest one comes courtesy of Dallas Mavericks guard O.J. Mayo who called out Cousins for punching him in the groin during their game on Monday. The incident was caught on tape and confirmed.Just minutes later, the two were called for a double-technical foul after mixing it up in a verbal spat. Mayo described the confrontation in an interview after the game.“I told him, ‘Man, play basketball,’ ” Mayo said. “ ’You’ve got a chance to be a good player, but when you do stuff like that, you’re like a garbage player. It’s not a sign of being great.’”And Mayo wasn't done there. “Man, that guy has mental issues,” Mayo said. “He’s a talented player. He has an opportunity to be the face of the organization, but I don’t think he wants it.”Mayo concluded on a more positive note.“Hopefully he’ll grow out of [maturity issues] and become great. He definitely has the talent.” Cousins could be hit with a fine or suspension (or both) over the classless play.Via The Dallas Morning News.
