P. Diddy was used as a prop in one of the most painfully scripted dunks the contest has seen. Diddy did a little skit with Rockets forward Chase Budinger where he said his favorite basketball movie was White Men Can’t Jump. Budinger then came out looking like Woody Harrelson from the movie with his hat turned backward. Diddy then tossed a blind lob to Budinger who jumped over Diddy. The skit was painful to watch, but the dunk was strong. Here is a video of the Chase Budinger dunk from P. Diddy:

Houston Rockets forward Chase Budinger opened the 2012 NBA Slam Dunk contest by jumping over rapper P. Diddy to dunk the ball.
P. Diddy stood in front of the basket with the basketball while Budinger got a running start. Diddy made a nice toss above his head, and Budinger leaped over Diddy, caught the ball with his right hand, and dunked it home.
Forgive me if I get Diddy...
Chase Budinger and Chandler Parsons are far from the only Rockets representatives this weekend at the NBA's All-Star festivities in Orlando. Rockets CEO Tad Brown is dispatching "12 or 14" staff members to take in some of Orlando's best practices in terms of hosting the weekend since the Rockets and the city of Houston will host the 2013 game.
