Point guard Pablo Prigioni returned to the starting lineup for the New York Knicks last night, helping them defeat the Boston Celtics and take a 2-0 lead in the series.Prigioni had been sidelined for Game 1 of the series with a sprained ankle. The 35-year-old NBA rookie is an experienced facilitator, and he helps provide shots for more prominent scorers, including Carmelo Anthonyand J.R. Smith.Without Prigioni in the lineup, the Knicks played a lot more isolation, depending on Anthony and Smith to create their own shots. Prigioni helped the team move the ball and the veteran dished out five assists and picked up a steal while not turning the ball over in his 18 minutes of action. The Knicks talked of a sense of urgency prior to last night’s game, and it showed in the result. Prigioni helped the team go up 2-0, and his playing time should only increase as he sees more action following his sprained ankle.Follow @hoopsinjurynews

photo via New York Knicks I know I’m a day late, but the flu knocked me out of the game the past few days.  I could barely stand for five seconds without feeling like I stepped in a ring with Muhammad Ali.  But I’m slowly on the mend and couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t at least attempt to channel my low low energy into a blog update paying respect to this year...

Carmelo Anthony Might Keep LeBron James From Being the First Unanimous MVP

Carmelo Anthony did it again last night by dropping 34 on the Boston Celtics to lead his team to a 87-71 victory Tuesday night.
