David West scored 29 points and Paul George had 21 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, leading the Indiana Pacers past the short-handed Chicago Bulls 111-101 on Monday night, and into a share of the Central Division lead. The Pacers won their third straight to tie the Bulls for the division lead and extend their home winning streak to 14, matching the team's longest since 2002-03. Marco Belinelli had a season-high 24 points and Nate Robinson had 19 points, nine assists and five rebounds to lead the Bulls, who lost for only the third time in nine games. The Bulls played again without starting guards Kirk Hinrich (elbow), Derrick Rose (knee) and center Joakim Noah (foot). The Bulls also survived a scare when Marco Belinelli crashed to the floor clutching his right ankle late in the first quarter. It slowed him down, but he returned later and almost single-handedly brought the Bulls back late. Carlos Boozer, who missed Saturday's game with a right hamstring injury, starte...

Paul George drops incredible between-the-legs pass against Bulls (Video)

Earlier tonight, Indiana Pacers forward Paul George arguably pulled off one of the best passes of 2013 against the Chicago Bulls. It happened in the first quarter of play as an Indiana fastbreak saw Paul find George Hill for an easy lay-up with a between-the-legs pass that went past two Bulls defenders:

Joakim Noah violates NBA dress code while seated on bench, forced to change (pics)

Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah, currently not in the lineup as he continues to deal with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, ran afoul of the NBA’s apparently stringent dress code policies on Monday while seated on the bench during the team’s game against the Indiana Pacers. Nattily attired — by most standards, as you can see above — in a nice grey sweater, a tasteful...

Paul George Channels His Inner Ricky Rubio, Goes Through The Legs For Assist

Paul George of the Indiana Pacers had one of the more cheeky passes this season on Monday night against the Chicago Bulls. Check out the cheeky between-the-legs pass which lead to a fastbreak layup. I am hard pressed to find a better assist this year. [@jeskeets] var conf_58544 = { APIKey: '2_N1YlfjHIEAtyRAK3CAYRE5a1aBuANuMOCLc_7hsOQ13HnwCrW_u-6OuDhjC7vR06 ', ...

Joakim Noah kicked off Bulls bench for unacceptable outfit

From a Yahoo Ball Don't Lie article: On Monday night, an NBA employee asked that injured Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah leave his team’s bench because his outfit was deemed unacceptable by the NBA. Here's what Noah was wearing: The NBA has a rule that states all inactive players must wear a sportcoat/jacket when sitting on the bench.  Apparently that sweater was...

Pacers beat Hawks to extend home win streak to 15

I'm glad the Pacers got this one against Hawks because they can be forgiven for losing their game tomorrow night against the 76ers in Philly. It will be their third game in three nights, the only time this will happen to any team in the league this season, thanks to  that rescheduled game against the Bulls. The 114-103 scoreline makes it sound like a fast paced game, but...

Nate Robinson Calls Refs Lazy After Not Reviewing Controversial No-Call

At 98-94 with under 2 minutes to go, the undermanned Bulls seemed to be gaining momentum on Monday night until a 50/50 ball flew out of bounds and the refs called Indiana ball without hesitation and oddly refused to review the play, drawing criticism from the visiting locker room who ultimately succumbed 111-101. According to CSN Chicago: “What’s the rule? Under two minutes,...

Kirk Hinrich Out At Least 1 Week With Elbow Injury

His numbers don’t speak volumes, 7 points and 5 assists per game, but Kirk Hinrich is the Chicago Bulls’ floor general on both sides of the ball with Derrick Rose sidelined – and he will join Rose in the training room for games for at least one week with an elbow infection that flared up from a previous injury last month. According to ESPN.com: Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said...

Pacers-76ers Preview

The Indiana Pacers' lengthy home winning streak is still alive, but the Central Division leaders now have to figure out how to get a 'W' outside of Indianapolis. Indiana will try to get that done Wednesday night when it concludes the NBA's only back-to-back-to-back set against a Philadelphia 76ers team that will be without Thaddeus Young for a while. After defeating...
