New York Knicks
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers are making believers out of their doubters. The Pacers picked up their ninth straight home victory, beating the New York Knicks 81-76 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday. Over the past 11 days, Indiana has beaten the Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat and now the Knicks, all teams expected to make or compete for a playoff spot. Paul George continued to cement his spot on the Eastern Conference All-Star team. The Pacers' third-year forward scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Ian Mahinmi came off the bench to contribute 13 points and six rebounds for the Pacers, who trail the Knicks by only 1 1/2 games for the second seed in the East. New York's J.R. Smith scored a game-high 25 points. The Knicks played All-Star forward without Carmelo Anthony, who served a one-game suspension for attempting to confront the Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett after Monday's game. The Pacers thought they got some breathing ro...

After being hired as the interim for Jim O'Brien in the 2010-11 season, Vogel led the Pacers to consecutive playoff appearances with a loss in the Eastern Conference semifinals last year. They've gotten off to a quick start in 2012-13.
After a loss at Madison Square Garden on November 18th against the Knicks in which the Pacers only scored 76 points, the Pacers...
I wanted to note that I always try to avoid writing in the first person, as to avoid bias, but when it comes to the Pacers, I feel nothing but bias. I have grown up a Bulls fan and am just old enough to remember despising Reggie Miller and everything the Pacers were. I hated that they made the second round of the playoffs last year, as the Bulls faltered without Derrick Rose and...
We’ve been hearing since Paul George’s rookie season in 2010-11 that he could be the Indiana Pacers’ No. 1 guy and even a NBA-wide star.
It appears George is approaching — or already has approached — that status.
With stellar performances in back-to-back wins against the East’s first- and second-place teams, the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks (albeit without Carmelo...
Knocking them out of a regular season game at home isn't quite the same as knocking them out of the playoffs, but the Pacers should nevertheless be very happy with their performance last tonight after topping the defending champs 87-77 in Indiana.
They were able to do it without Danny Granger, the team's top scorer over the past five seasons (as well as with a sick and...
Indiana Pacers A tale of two extremes
The Indiana Pacers are Currently 21-14 and coming off of a resounding win against the defending champion Heat. They have been playing this season so far without leading scorer Danny Granger due to a knee injury. In a Charmin soft eastern conference they currently sit in fourth place despite getting woefully inept offensive production from...

The Pacers picked up their ninth straight home victory, beating the New York Knicks 81-76 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday. The Knicks are facing off against the Pacers minus Carmelo Anthony. Anthony is serving a one game suspension for a post game outburst that happened following Knicks vs. Celtics on Monday. That means a whole lot of JR Smith. Check out JR’s dunk on Pacers’ Ian Mahinmi from the first half. JR has endured a [...]
Paul George and the Central Division-leading Indiana Pacers are starting to look more and more like serious contenders with each passing game.
A visit from the Charlotte Bobcats isn't likely to slow them down.
Indiana tries to win 10 straight at home for the first time in 10 seasons and avenge a rare loss to the Bobcats as the teams square off Saturday night.
J.R. Smith threw down a vicious right hand jam on Pacers’ Ian Mahinmi Thursday nigh at Bankers Life Fieldhouse:
