Roy logs heavy minutes, responds well

MINNEAPOLIS To the ignorant eye, Brandon Roy looks anything but frail, and those knees are just knees. To the ignorant ear, the thud of his 210-pound frame hitting the hardwood sounds no louder than any other thud, the squeak of his shoes as he slides no shriller than any other squeak. But to those of us who know, we cringe. We see Roy as a little weaker than we'd ever let him...

Gerald Green Finishes Inbounds Alley-Oop to Perfection

Gerald Green had 18 points on Friday night during the Pacers first pre-season win, but none the below dunk was by far the best. Green took a very long inbounds pass from Ben Hansbrough and climbed a ladder to be able to finish the dunk over a defender. Green was also called for a technical foul on the play for hanging on the rim too long, but that is nether here nor there.via...

Wolves must learn from last year's late flaws

MINNEAPOLIS With a revamped roster and a normal season looming, it's easy to say that the Timberwolves are starting fresh. For the most part, they are, with just seven players returning from last year's team, but that doesn't erase history. That doesn't make Kevin Love forget everything he's been through in four losing seasons in Minnesota. It doesn't negate...
