Found March 01, 2013 on Pacers Pulse:
Huge win against the Raptors after two home losses against them earlier in the season. The 93-81 victory was also important because it prevented a two-game losing streak, it got the Pacers a rare road win, and it keeps them just percentage points out of the second seed in the East behind the Knicks. David West had 15 and 11, Paul George 22 and 10, and Roy Hibbert returned from his one-game exile to post 18 points on 7-10 shooting but grabbed just 3 rebounds in 24 minutes. The big fella must have felt bad for being absent in the big game against the Clippers, which showed in his aggression, but let's just hope he can keep things up. It does look like he is turning the corner (at last) on the offensive end. Lastly, Danny Granger looks like he might be getting into shape quicker than expected. After yesterday's 12-point performance he put up another 8 points in 10 minutes on 3-5 shooting. He admitted still feeling discomfort int he knee and it was the second night of a ...

Granger, George like 'brothers'

The most dangerous threat to the Miami Heat's chances for Eastern Conference domination is the relationship on display at a downtown hotspot full of gawking fans, two men talking without a hint of the rivalry so many predict. In the good-natured barbs, in the private and quiet moments of respect over the buzz of the bar, and in the ease of mentor and protege sharing a night out...

Pacers 97, Bulls 92

David West scored 31 points and George Hill added 20, leading the Indiana Pacers past the Chicago Bulls 97-92 in a Central Division showdown Sunday night. Indiana (38-22) has won seven of its last eight games, going 6-1 since the All-Star break, and holds a four-game lead over second-place Chicago. Clippers too good for Hibbert-less Pacers

The Indiana Pacers had their 5-game winning streak snapped against the LA Clippers with a 99-91 defeat at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. A lot of people will point to the fact that Roy Hibbert's suspension (for a pushing match with the Dubs' David Lee that spilled into the crowd) was the reason why the Pacers lost at home, where they are usually dominant, but the truth is,...

CP3 Puts Paul George On Skates With Nasty Crossover And Spin (Video)

Clippers point guard Chris Paul is a beast with the basketball in his hand.  Last night in a big win over the Indiana Pacers, Paul showed Paul George just how nasty his handle can be. Paul scored the final eight points against the Pacers and then gave George the business with a bevy of moves on the wing.  Paul hit George with a crossover, then quick spin that looks to have made...

Danny Granger Has No Problem ‘Passing Mantle’ To Paul George

Despite that some may have thought that with Danny Granger coming back and Paul George playing at such a high level, that it may disrupt the Pacers flow or create a top-dog battle between the two, it’s quite the opposite.  Granger says he has no problem passing the torch and leaving the Pacers to his younger All-Star teammate. According to Fox Sports: “I think the biggest deal...

David Lee and Roy Hibbert both suspended one game

Can The Pacers Beat The Heat?

With 25 games left in the NBA season, two teams look like they have separated themselves from the rest of the pack in the East. Right now the possible match-up between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers is drawing a lot of attention as of late. This match-up is becoming even more interesting because Danny Granger is returning from a knee injury, which makes this Pacers team even...

Pacers-Raptors Preview

The Indiana Pacers just failed to run their winning streak to a season-best six games. The same thing happened the last time they faced the Toronto Raptors. Indiana, though, has a chance to extend a different streak Friday night when it goes for its fourth consecutive road win over the Raptors. Going for its first 6-0 run since a seven-game surge last April 9-19, Indiana (36-22...
