The Indiana Pacers announced Monday they have exercised the team option on the contract for swingman Paul George for the 2013-14 season. George started all 66 games in which he played for the Pacers last season and averaged 12.1 points. The team also waived center Luke Nevill and guards Sundiata Gaines and Blake Ahearn. Gaines played in 57 games, including 12 starts, for the Nets last season when he averaged 5.1 points. Ahearn played in four games for Utah last season.
