The Last Angry Fan:
A lot of stuff that goes down during the NBA preseason is of the fluff variety, designed solely for the amusement of the season ticket holders. For example, the Pacers held a dance-off at a fan friendly event recently, and while on the competitors were better at rug cutting than you or I, it was rookie Miles Plumlee who stole the show with his unicycle dancing to that classic wedding staple, the Cha Cha Slide.
And who does Sam Young think he is with that side somersault? Looks nice and all but pales in comparison to seeing a 6-foot-11, 255-pound behemoth deftly maneuver a one-wheeled bicycle. No idea on how Plumlee became so proficient at riding a unicycle, but seeing that he did go to Duke, I’ll just assume it was one of his elective courses.*

Green's Pacers teammates had the unfortunately task of practicing alley-oop dunks before the former Celtics first-round pick at practice. Green outshined them all with his hops, soaring above the rim for a windmill and a two-handed slam. He was just...

I tell you what: I was ready to write about how it was a long season and that a road loss to the Raptors in the Pacers' season opener was not an alarm but a learning experience. Danny Granger is out indefinitely with a knee injury and George Hill is still recovering from hip and thumb injuries -- those were the excuses I was going to use (and not the fact that the Raptors flat...
