This is something that fans of basketball don't want to hear. It' sad that it might end this way. My only problem here is this. Gasol is an injured player and most of all, he is 32 years old. I don't see any value in there as a trading chip. If he decides to be traded Lakers should make sure that they get a good player that would complement with Howard to entice him to stay. As it stands now, the comments being given by Kobe about him playing thru injuries has created animosities between the two of them. This has created a very sensitive situation. Successive salvo's of negative attitudes about dwight plus his injuries, lackluster plays by the team as a whole, his dissatisfaction with coach has certainly made this whole athmosphere unwhole some for him to resign. I don't know how to eat and digest this chop suy. If Gasol wants to be traded and with the rocky Dwight Howard looming not to resign, it's time to declare the Lakers as dead on arrival fo 2013.
The drama surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers will continues, as it's being reported that Pau Gasol is considering a trade out of Los Angeles if the Lakers continue their journey with head coach Mike D'Antoni and center Dwight Howard.During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Gasol discussed everything about the L.A. Lakers and the issues surrounding him and D'Antoni, which hasn't been solved due to the lack of understanding."Nothing is going to change, but I have no doubt we can coexist and dominate every single game. I believe 100% if I was starting inside with Dwight we could make the playoffs. I just don't know if coming off the bench gives the team a chance to be better and win more games," Gasol said. Also, Gasol spoke about how Jim Boss moves with the Lakers, this season, to keep Dwight Howard happy, is causing some players and fans to become angry with the team."It would be hard for me to deal with another season," Gasol said.
