With Steve Nash out of town, the Suns could use an attendance boost.credit: edwardandsons.com
After losing Steve Nash this offseason, the Phoenix Suns must have figured that they would have to take a step back this season. They made some nice moves in the offseason, adding players like Goran Dragic, Luis Scola, and Michael Beasley, but nobody really expects much of them.
At 7-9, the team isn’t doing as poorly as many expected. That being said, there doesn’t seem to be a big draw to watch them. They might not have been a playoff team last year, but tuning in to see Steve Nash was enough for a lot of people. This year, their attendance is struggling big time.
So, the Phoenix Suns are offering a refund for any fan who comes out to the game next Thursday and doesn’t have fun. Seriously. Via ESPN:
Next Thursday, the Phoenix Suns will be the first team in NBA history to guarantee its fans that they will have fun at the game against the Mavericks, or they can get their money back.
