AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Greg Monroe had 20 points and 13 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons won for just the second time this season, 103-83, over the Boston Celtics at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Sunday. Jason Maxiell contributed 15 points for the Pistons, who had six double-figure scorers, while Kyle Singler and Rodney Stuckey had 14 apiece. Rajon Rondo had 12 points and 10 assists while Kevin Garnett supplied a team-high 15 points for Boston (6-5), which had won four of its last five. The Pistons (2-9) squandered double-digit, second-half leads in their previous three home games but didn't fall apart after opening up a big third-quarter lead Sunday. Maxiell scored six points in the first five minutes of the second half, including a pair of mid-range jumpers, as the Pistons built upon their five-point halftime lead.
