Detroit Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva will not be returning to the lineup anytime soon. Villanueva is dealing with bone spurs and tendinitis in his right ankle and will have it partially immobilized for a few weeks. The team said the diagnosis was made after multiple consultations with specialists. Villanueva will be re-evaluated after an unspecified time period. The 6-foot-11 Villanueva has appeared in only two games this season, failing to score in a total of fewer than six minutes. He averaged 11.1 points and 3.9 assists in 76 games with Detroit last season.
