Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey is being courted by the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, ESPN.com reported Tuesday.
Stuckey is a restricted free agent, meaning the Pistons would have the right to match any offer he receives from another team once the lockout ends.
However, the Chinese Basketball Association limits its teams to one NBA player who must be a free agent. The player must also commit to the entire season and cannot return to the NBA when the lockout ends.
Stuckey averaged 15.5 points and 5.2 assists last season. He also feuded with then-coach John Kuester.
