The Detroit Pistons just went through one of the most disappointing seasons in the teams recent history, and they could be looking at making major moves this coming offseason. According to Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, the Pistons are expected to look to trade forward Josh Smith this coming offseason. Smith was signed as a free agent last offseason, but quite simply didn’t work out in the way that they team was hoping. Detroit was hoping that Smith would be able to come in and fit with the current roster, but that didn’t work out well at all. Down the stretch of the season it was very obvious that Smith wanted the basketball in his hands no matter what, and was unhappy even when his teammates made good plays if he wasn’t involved. The Pistons have a very talented front-court already in Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond, and quite frankly Smith didn’t want to let them play their games if it meant less touches for him. It will be very intriguing to see what type of trade interest there is in him this offseason. There are quite a few teams that will be looking to make some moves, but there are a lot of risks involved in acquiring Smith as well. Team chemistry is a bit thing in the
