Kyle Singler was the No. 33 pick this year by the Detroit Pistons in the NBA draft. While the NBA was in a lockout Singler decided that he wanted to play basketball overseas. He signed with Lucentum Alicante a Spanish team. Since August Singler has been the league’s top rookie averaging 15 points per game. Now Allicante has decided to sell Singler’s rights to Real Madrid. Singler will start playing for his new club in Spain wants the NBA lockout is officially over. So with Singler playing with Real Madrid for the rest of the season; he will not be playing in the NBA this current season. Since Singler was a second round pick he will make more money playing overseas than in the NBA’s rookie wage scale. Singler would probably have earned some playing time this season with the Pistions at the small forward position. Espically with Tayshaun Price likely gone to free agency.
