Well there was good news and bad news depending on how you look at it for the the Pistons Wednesday night in Indianapolis. The good news? Joe Dumars was able to send the bloated Tayshaun Prince contract along with an under-performing Austin Daye to Memphis for Jose Calderon and his expiring contract. The bad news… the Pistons were simply pathetic shooting from the field tonight going 36.4 percent in a 98-79 loss to the Pacers. Greg Monroe led the way for the Pistons with 18 points as he and Rodney Stuckey (14 points) were the only two starters to get into double figures on the night. Detroit was almost as bad from the free throw line going 44.4 percent including missing their first first two free throws attempts and six straight shots to open up the game. The Pacers for the most part were also able to dominate the Pistons in the paint scoring 48 points to Detroit’s 38.
