NBA 24/7 365:
Well, I had an awfully tough decision to make today. Between Andre Iguodala and Caron Butler, it was almost a tossup. What ultimately swung my vote in favor of Iguodala is the last replay angle in the video below. As you watch, notice how far Iggy has to reach in order to dunk the ball as he’s falling to the floor. We’re talking about a real degree of difficulty here, even considering the blatant offensive foul that went uncalled. Butler’s dunk looks beautiful, but Chris Kaman didn’t make it overly challenging.
Remarkable focus exhibited by Andre. Most players probably bail out on this dunk attempt when they realize that they’re about to hit the deck.

In the last couple of years, Nuggets forward JaVale McGee has provided us with many laughs and during Friday night's Nuggets/Pacers game, he provided us with another JaVale moment. After Mr. McGee collects the rebound, a behind-the-back move turned into a terrible fast break which caused JaVale to throw the pass into the third row.To top it all off, he took another Nuggets player...
The Denver Nuggets lost another close game Wednesday night, this time to the Atlanta Hawks, but there was a few highlights for the streaky Nuggets. This one included a nice dish and a one-handed slam (and a foul) by Danilo Gallinari and Andre Iguodala. A budding bro-mance, perhaps? The post Bro-Mance: Danilo Gallinari Dishes to Andre Iguodala (Video) appeared first on The NBA Mistress.
JaVale McGee remains the NBA worldwide leader in magnificent blunders. During the third quarter of the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday, McGee grabbed a loose ball, dribbled behind his back, and attempted to lead a fast break. The only problem is he began losing control of the rock around midcourt and, as he was falling, he chucked the ball over the basket...
Basketball purgatory. What is it? Similar to actual purgatory, basketball purgatory is just how it sounds; a team isn’t playing good, inspired basketball, nor are they playing gut-wrenching, terrible ball despite all appearances. The Denver Nuggets are in basketball purgatory. I could give you another fair, with a glimmer of hope, post-game article after the [...]The post The Denver...
Denver's Andre Miller brought back a blast from the past Friday night.
The 36-year-old backup guard scored eight of his 15 points during a 10-0 run in the final three minutes, leading the Nuggets past the Indiana Pacers 92-89.
Miller had a hand in all of the points, also getting an assist on JaVale McGee's dunk during the decisive spurt.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Denver Nuggets were struggling, looking to get a jump-start somehow against an Indiana Pacers team that had all the momentum in its favor. No need to worry, veteran Andre Miller was there to bail them out. Miller scored six points during an 8-0 Nuggets run late in the fourth quarter to help them beat the Pacers 92-89 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday. ...
Josh Smith's steal, jam and free throw with 31 seconds remaining extended Atlanta's lead and the Hawks held on to beat the Denver Nuggets 108-104 on Wednesday night.
Smith had 16 points and 13 rebounds on his 27th birthday. Al Horford led the Hawks with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Ty Lawson paced Denver with a season-high 32 points. Corey Brewer had 19.

Looking for the dunk of Friday night in the NBA?Then you need to check out this amazing one-handed stuff that Nuggets forward JaVale McGee decided to throw down on Pacers back-up center Ian Mahinmi:
“Take that, take that"
We love our huge dunks here at backyard sports blog, and they seem like they are coming in every night now with the NBA and NCAAB in full swing. Caron Butler got into the mix last night when the Clippers smoked the Mavericks by 22 points. Butler added 16 of those points, and none better than this monster jam on Chris Kaman's face. I would tell him to go check everything...
It was a good day for LA basketball on Wednesday night. The Lakers won and the Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks. You knew it was going to be a tough night for former Clippers center Chris Kaman after witnessing this first quarter dunk on him by Caron Butler. He was the victim of two during [...]
When most people think of nasty slam dunks and the Los Angeles Clippers, they usually link Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan.Last night, Caron Butler added his name to the list as he threw down a nasty dunk in the grill of Dallas Maverick center Chris Kaman. He almost added a "mush" for good measure:
Earlier we had Blake Griffin's teammate Caron Butler throwing down on Chris Kaman's face, now we have Griffin throwing down on Elton Brand. This isn't one of his biggest dunks by any means, but it was very impressive mainly because it was left handed. Not many players in the NBA have the talent to throw down a huge dunk with their opposite hand. Check out the dunk...
