MIAMI LeBron James' publicist said Tuesday the quotes are false on James having promised Liverpool FC players a party in Las Vegas with he and Kanye West if they start winning games. The Miami Heat star owns a stake in the Liverpool team. But publicist Adam Mendelsohn told FOX Sports Florida that James didn't utter what the British newspapers The Sun and The Daily Mail had quoted him as saying. Those stories are false, Mendelsohn told. It was first in The Sun (Monday) and they took the story down. It was in the Daily Mail (Tuesday), and that story has been taken down. James, was quoted in the Daily Mail story as saying, "Everybody in sport needs incentive and if the guys at Liverpool win something this year, I will give them the best weekend of their life in Vegas . Kanye is in and trust me, nobody does Vegas like LeBron and Kanye.'' James also was quoted in the Daily Mail story as saying he would be "coming over to see a game soon with Kanye and Jay-Z.''
