The Los Angeles Lakers upset the reigning kings of the NBA Power Rankings The Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.  

Kobe Bryant scored 21 points and handed out 14 assists as the slumping Lakers rose up to win 105-96. Bryant switched up his style to play the role that point guard Steve Nash was predicted to play to smother OKC.

In other highlights, the Miami Heat dropped an emotional contest to the Boston Celtics who are now without their point guard Rajon Rondo.

Even if it won’t last forever, Paul Pierce stood tall and reminded the world of his former form when he was at his best.

Pierce turned in a triple double in the 100-98 victory for the Celtics.
