The San Antonio Spurs released their 2013-2014 season schedule Tuesday evening as the Spurs will open the new season in a rematch of the Western Conference Finals where they will host the Memphis Grizzlies on October 30. This will be a quick preview of the schedule highlighting key dates and games. November Games: 16 games Home: 7 games Road: 9 games Back-to-backs (B2B): 5 Key games: 11/01 @ L.A. Lakers, 11/08 vs. Golden State Warriors, 11/10 @ New York Knicks, 11/22 @ Memphis Grizzlies, 11/23 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 11/25 vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 11/27 @ Oklahoma City Thunder, 11/30 vs. Houston Rockets December Games: 16 games Home: 8 games Road: 8 games B2B: 4 Key games: 12/2 vs. Atlanta Hawks, 12/7 vs. Indiana Pacers (George Hill returns to San Antonio), 12/13 vs. Timberwolves, 12/16 @ L.A. Clippers, 12/19 @ Warriors, 12/21 vs. Thunder, 12/31 vs. Brooklyn Nets. Mexico City: The Spurs will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on 12/4 in Mexico City. Gary Neal: The Spurs will see Gary Neal in a Milwaukee Bucks uniform on 12/11 in Milwaukee. Christmas Day: Playing in the NBA Finals may have put San Antonio on the national spotlight as they’ll host the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day (12/25). DeJuan Blair: The Spurs will see DeJuan Blair in a Dallas Mavericks unifrom in Dallas on 12/26. The Spurs’ final month looks to have some tough matchups as they’ll play the Warriors (4/2) and then the Thunder on the following night (4/3), followed by the Grizzlies on 4/6, travel to the Mavericks on 4/10 and then face the Rockets in Houston on 4/14 followed by the Lakers in San Antonio to end the season on 4/16.
