After the Rajon Rondo incident last night, everyone wondered what Stern would say about it. Well, he has spoken... at least.. he spoke about it on ESPN Radio:
“I don’t want to pre-judge on what the recommendation is going to be,” Stern said. “But as a fan, he obviously bumped him. And you know what happens with respect to that.” There have been three instances this...

If you were like me and wondering how in the world the Celtics were considering trading Rajon Rondo, you got your answer on Sunday. The guy is said to be difficult to deal with, and he proved he lacks restraint when he bumped a referee during Game 1 between the Celtics and Hawks on Sunday. Here’s video of his unbelievably idiotic play in the final minute of the game:

For a long time yesterday, the Celtics played about as badly as they could. Kevin Garnett couldn’t hit the ocean if he were throwing an anchor off the side of a boat during the first half. Paul Pierce, ditto, and his struggles continued into half two. Brandon Bass didn’t even take a shot for what seemed like forever, the bench combined for four points in 51 minutes, and the...

Many people predicted before last night that Paul Pierce would become more of a distributor in Rajon Rondo’s absence. Pierce often dishes more assists than usual when Rondo misses games, so it was natural to believe he would become a de facto point guard in Rondo’s absence. Pierce, however, maintained the stance he always takes when asked why he scored this, or passed that...

The Celtics probably couldn't have started off their series with the Hawks any worse if they tried. Not only did the C's fall in Game 1, but they'll be forced to play Game 2 in Atlanta without their floor general, as Rajon Rondo has been suspended one game for bumping referee Mark Davis late in Sunday's contest. Boston will likely be without Ray Allen again as well...

The official who tossed Rajon Rondo from last night's game is no stranger to controversy, publicity or the Celtics.
Many NBA analysts claim Marc Davis is one of those officials who love and seek out the spotlight. During an appearance this morning on WEEI, disgraced former referee Tim Donaghy said Davis has a large ego and "rabbit ears."
While Rondo was upset...
