Sharp-Shooter Pat Garrity originally from Las Vegas, but attended the sinless University of Notre Dame University. He definitely fits the criteria of the Fighting Irish big man. He averaged a double-double every year, and dominated his senior year with over 23 ppg. He was drafted 19th overall to the Milwaukee Bucks, but was then traded to the Mavericks along with Dirk Nowitzki, but then was traded again (with scrubs and future first round pick who ended up being Shawn Marion) to the Suns for Steve Nash…

In Pat’s rookie season he averaged 5.6 ppg in only 13 mpg. The next season Pat Garrity (packaged with Danny Manning) was traded to the Orlando Magic for another All-Star Penny Hardaway. Garrity would go on to play 9 seasons for the Magic.

In his career high season in 2001-02, Pat played 30 mpg, shot 42% from 3-pointland, and averaged 11.1 ppg. Pat shot a career  40% from beyond the arc.

In NBA Live 2005 (Carmelo on cover) Pat Garrity was unconscious from 3, and competed with Peja, Reggie, and Ray for the best shooter in that video game….I always drafted him.
