Much has been made of the Memphis Grizzlies and whether they will deal Rudy Gay before the trade deadline. Although a good player a big part of the team, new ownership is looking to shred salary, and Gay is vastly overpaid with a maximum contract.
There has been plenty of speculation, with tons of potential landing destinations being tossed around. They recently made a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers that was primarily aimed at lowering their tax bill, leading some to believe that they are done dealing for this season.
However, the Grizzlies are reportedly in talks with the Toronto Raptors for Gay. Via ESPN:
