There was a Reggie Evans sighting at the Clippers practice facility Thursday. He was seen standing inside the Clippers weight room area talking with team personnel.
Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro said the team still hadnt signed Evans to a contract. Del Negro wanted to talk to the team doctors and get the results of Evans physical.
Del Negro expected the Clippers to sign the 6-foot-8 Evans to a one-year contract worth about 1.3 million.
But the coach also said that he didnt expect Evans to play in Sundays opener against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland because hes nursing a foot injury.
Del Negro said Evans may not be able to play for about two more weeks.

I can't wait to see what kind of hate rains down upon the Boston Celtics if they sign the guy regarded as the dirtiest player in the league.
Reggie won't do much, but he'll get grimy and defend and rebound. If he signs here, I would anticipate some fights with Chris Wilcox in practice...

The league's dirtiest player is headed to the Clippers. He would have received the same veteran's minimum deal from the Celtics.
Why did Evans pick LA over Boston? He'll likely see more playing time in LA. Evans could be the first big off the bench to replace Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan. In Boston, he'd have to compete with Brandon Bass and Chris Wilcox on the bench.
