PLAYERS: Derrick Rose
TEAMS: Chicago Bulls

A person familiar with the situation told CSNChicago.com that while Rose isn’t taking contact or doing intense drill work, he has progressed to the point that he is able to go run through the team’s offensive sets with the “early group” before practices. While this might suggest that Rose’s return is imminent, his timetable to even return to practice remains up in the air, as the most optimistic guesses hint that he could play approximately the final 30 games of the regular season — meaning he’d be back prior to the All-Star break, after which most predictions have slated him to return — but others still believe he could sit out the entire campaign, depending on the state of the Bulls upon his readiness to play. via CSN Chicago
