If the Houston Rockets land Dwight Howard this summer, it could come at the expense of their two big free-agent signings last offseason. The Rockets have made guard Jeremy Lin and center Omer Asik available, according to CBSSports.com. A league source told CBSSports.com that the Rockets believe they already have Howard and are now looking toward the next moves to restructure their roster. Asik would become expendable because of his position. It was reported that Philadelphia could be a likely landing spot for the former Chicago Bulls center. The Rockets are demanding a starting point guard in return for any trade for Lin, who was not a part of the Rockets traveling party that met with Howard at 12:01am ET on Monday morning in Los Angeles. Lin had a disappointing first season with the Rockets, who they signed the former New York Knicks guard last summer as a restricted free agent, averaging 13.4 points and 6.1 assists per game.
