Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has no plans to undergo a surgical procedure on a torn ligament in his right wrist.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Bryant will not huddle with the German doctor who treated his arthritic knee with platelet-rich plasma therapy last year.
If Bryant underwent a similar procedure to promote healing in his wrist, he would have to fly to Germany and would need at least a week to recover.
The newspaper reported that the team is not inclined to allow Bryant to go, given the high level of his play despite the injury.
Bryant had 26 points and nine assists in a 90-82 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night. He is averaging 27.6 points, 6.1 assists and 5.8 rebounds.
