The Atlanta Hawks have reached a multi-year agreement with Utah Jazz forward Paul Millsap, according to multiple media outlets.
With the Jazz last season, his seventh NBA campaign, Millsap averaged 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds, while shooting 49 percent from the field. He also tallied 15 double-doubles for the year, including a 20-point, 13-rebound, five-assist effort against the Hawks (Jan. 11 at Atlanta).
From 2009-13, Millsap averaged double-digit points and at least seven rebounds for five consecutive seasons.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Millsap's deal covers two years and approximately 19 million.
The NBA's salary cap for 2013-14 is projected to be around 70.6 million, incrementally higher than last season. Prior to last week's draft, Al Horford, John Jenkins and Louis Williams were the only Atlanta players under contract.
