Reports Say Monta Got Hurt On Moped

The "San Francisco Chronicle" reported Thursday that Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis actually hurt himself last month while riding a moped. He had originally claimed that he hurt himself in a pick-up game in his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. The paper is reporting that sources close to Ellis told the paper, that he was hurt on the motor vehicle. Ellis underwent surgery after tearing a deltoid ligament in his left ankle, he also suffered a severe sprain of the ankle. He will be out of action for about two more months.
