Houston Rockets center Omer Asik is in his third year after coming to the United States from Turkey.  It hasn’t taken long for him to recognize that ’tis the season for giving.

Asik was kind enough to give to those less fortunate on Tuesday night during the Rockets' game against the Toronto Raptors.  

Asik went up for a rebound under his own basket and, instead of actually securing it, he tipped the ball into his own basket.

The Rockets went on to win the game 117-101 despite the mistake and currently sit at 7-7.  The Raptors are 3-12 and very much in need of more gifts as we move toward the holiday season.
