HOUSTON - NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports the Houston Rockets reached a buyout agreement with guard Derek Fisher.
Fisher, or rather his contract, was acquired by the Rockets from the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline on Thursday, along with a 2012 first-round draft pick.
The Rockets sent the Lakers forward Jordan Hill.
Fisher, who cannot re-sign with the Lakers this season, had a 3.4 million option for next season.
