*NBA ATS Matchup Report*

The Rockets have won 3 games in a row including beating Chicago in the Windy City and all of their games in their current winning streak have been on the road. This season the Rockets have won both of their games against the Blazers.

The Blazers have to forget their last game where they lost to the Bucks and in that game they had a 9-point lead at halftime and lost 116-94 and they were absolutely killed on the glass getting out-rebounded 49-20.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 21 points in the loss to the Bucks, but had a season low 3 rebounds.

The guards of Raymond Felton, Wesley Matthews, and Jamal Crawford all shot under 50% in the loss to Milwaukee and these guys need to shoot the pill better tonight.

They have a good chance to do that against a Rockets’ team that ranks 19th in the league in opponents’ points allowed.

Leading scorer Kevin Martin is still out for the Rockets, but Houston is still getting it done on offense. Luis Scola is key for them and Aldridge and J.J. Hicksonwill have to play good D on him.

Houston Rockets vs. Portland Trailblazers Betting Lines & Handicapping

The Blazers will see a familiar face tonight, as Marcus Camby is now with the Rockets. He leads the team in rebounding and the Blazers need to keep him and Scola from dominating the glass.

Courtney Lee and Goran Dragic have been playing well and the Blazers have to make these guys settle for jumpers and not get in the lane.

Rockets vs. Blazers Handicapping Preview

This season the Rockets are 30-26 ATS with an O/U record of 26-30 and the Blazers are 27-29-1 ATS with an O/U record of 31-26.

The Rockets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games, and they have an Over record of 14-6 in their last 20 games.

The Blazers are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than 40%, and they have an Over record of 7-1 in their last 8 games.

Pick: Have to go with the Rockets in this game since they are playing well and the Blazers are not.

Take Houston to cover the spread tonight.
