Rajon Rondo underwent successful surgery to repair his "torn" ACL this past Tuesday, and there is already talk about him making a quick return. Doc Rivers spoke with the media about Rondo, and joked that he could possibly make a quick return like NFL player Adrian Peterson. Rondo chose to have his knee operated on by the same surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, that worked on Peterson's knee as well. Through Peterson's rehab and recovery, he made it back to the field healthy and ready to play in a very short time. Rivers would definitely like Rondo to have the same luck.
