And just two days after 22nd birthday, Ross was selected to join defending dunk champ Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz, the Clippers' Eric Bledsoe, Kenneth Faried of the Nuggets, the Pacers' Gerald Green and the Knicks' James White at this upcoming All-Star weekend. Andrea Bargnani just got himself healthy and back onto the court, and the Toronto Raptors are already discussing traded. They have long-wanted to move Bargnani, but he hurt himself and the team had to wait for him to recover. Now, with Bargnani healthy again, they can start up trade talks. And they have.According to Aggrey Sam of CSN Chicago, the Raptors have talked to the...
Andrea Bargnani returned Wednesday from an elbow injury, scoring 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-3 FT) off the bench. Bargs added three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes.
He's likely to be showcased for a trade since the new Raptors will be built around Rudy Gay (25 points, 12 rebounds three assists and four steals).
Amir Johnson started at power forward, double...
The Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors have engaged in trade discussions for a deal involving Carlos Boozer for Andrea Bargnani.
ESPN's Marc Stein broke the story, and he noted that other players with smaller contracts would have to be added to the deal to make it work. Standing in the way of a potential deal -- whether Toronto could afford to have Boozer and Gay on the team.
Rudy Gay became a Toronto Raptor last week and you would be excused for thinking that he had been liberated from a Grizzly prison upon his departure from Memphis, if you listened to his comments this week on Toronto radio. That is right: the man formerly known as the highest paid man on the Grizz is now the highest paid Raptor -- but will he be the best performing Raptor?
posted by Mike Masaya With all the news surrounding the Raptors acquisition of Rudy Gay resulting in the loss of Jose Calderon and Ed Davis; to the Celtics drama filled ‘falling from grace’ type headlines, an injured Rondo and trade rumors surrounding Pierce and Garnett, both teams will have a lot on their mind during tonights game. As if that weren’t enough the 76ers and...
The Toronto Raptors haven’t received this much attention on the NBA blogosphere since Chris Bosh signed with Miami in 2010. A little over a week after acquiring Rudy Gay in a three-way trade with the Pistons and Grizzlies, the Raptors are at the center of a new NBA trade rumor.
Per Marc Stein of ESPN.com, Toronto and Chicago have engaged each other in talks about a potential...
Tweet After six and a half seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies it’s going to take some time to get used to seeing Rudy Gay in a Toronto Raptors uniform. He’s gotten off to a pretty decent start with his new team, averaging 24 points, six boards, and over three steals through the first four [...]
Good win for the Celtics. They pulled it out in the end. The Raptors fans are always active on their game threads. They complained about their own players a whole lot more than the Celtics though. I can never get used to fans wishing an injury on a player. It's just so wrong. It's also amazing that probably half of the teams in the league hate their coaches. My...
After such a stellar stretch, the Indiana Pacers were due for a letdown game, and boy did they throw it away against the Toronto Raptors, losing 100-98 in overtime and snapping their 15-game home winning streak. And full credit to the Raptors too, for never giving up and fighting through till the end despite getting some pretty dubious calls against them.
What happened was this...

The Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors have engaged in exploratory trade discussions on a potential deal centered around Carlos Boozer and Andrea Bargnani.
6:30: Tonight, the Celtics will head north to visit the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors are just 17-31 and currently on a 1-game losing streak. On the other hand, the Celtics are 4-0 since Rondo went down and 24-23 overall. I'm not gonna complain about four straight wins, but I do have to point out that they were all at home, where the C's are 17-9. On the road, they are a dismal...
