Roy Hibbert hasn’t had the most fun of days after the Pacers took a brutal loss against the Heat in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals last night.
Now Hibbert has taken to twitter to put Shane Battier on blast for striking his knee into his crotch (video below).
U can knee or kick me every time u drive 2the rim. Ill be there 2protect the rim. That wasn’t inadvertent. Battier knew what he was doing

Good to see Hibbert vent, and even better for the spectators who want nothing more than a long and hard fought series.
A little bad blood and vengeance never hurt anyone.
BEST OF MAXIM
MIAMI -- Indiana center Roy Hibbert wasn't thrilled with being benched late in Game 1 against Miami. So what did he do?He went back to his hotel room and ordered room service. Then he announced he would be fielding questions on Twitter until his food arrived in 40 minutes.Hibbert patiently answered nearly 100. Even some that weren't exactly flattering"You clumsy as ...
The Indiana Pacers evened the series against the Miami Heat last night for a host of reasons, but one centers around Roy Hibbert and the mismatch against the Heat front line. The Heat have no answer for a classic center like Roy Hibbert, and he creates all sorts of problems for them when he stays out of foul trouble.
Now, this wouldn’t matter as much if the Miami shooters were...
Shane Battier has never been one of the most athletic players in the NBA, and at 34 years old he has had to find ever more creative ways to contend with the league’s big bodies and high fliers. His methods tend to attract attention for what his supporters would call “gamesmanship” and his detractors would just call “dirtiness.”
Pacers center Roy Hibbert prefers the latter...
Roy Hibbert is one of the more hot and cold folks on Twitter these days, and if he isn’t Tweeting images of girls pooping on the streets, he is usually calling someone out, even fans. His latest victim is Shane Battier of the Miami Heat who he claims kneed him in the groin on purpose during Wednesday night’s game in Miami. You can see the video above and it does seem that...
Shane Battier is considered a “class act” and always talks to the media on game days. That is, until his super dirty play that Roy Hibbert called intentional yesterday. And now today, he’s staying quiet, skipping out on his interviews. Hey Shane, if you’re gonna hit someone in the balls, at least grab your own and talk about it afterwards.
What Hibbert Was Up to in OT
The Indiana Pacers played a great game against the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Heck, after Paul George made three free throws to give them the lead with 2.2 seconds left, it looked like they were even going to pull off the win. But luckily Miami had Pacers coach Frank Vogel give them an assist.
Vogel inexplicably pulled center Roy Hibbert out of the game...
The Pacers will lock horns with the Miami Heat for a chance to play for an NBA Title. All anyone has been talking about the past few days is this Roy Hibbert block on Carmelo Anthony from the Eastern Conference semi’s.
Of course now everyone wants to know if that block will prevent LeBron James from challenging Hibbert at the rim?
According to the New York Daily News, James...
Frank Vogel decided to leave Roy Hibbert on the bench in two key defensive plays late in the Indiana Pacers' overtime loss to the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Hibbert is one of the NBA's best rim protectors, but struggles to defend the perimeter. Vogel was concerned that guarding Chris Bosh on the perimeter would negate Hibbert's usefulness at...

There is a cardinal rule among all men that simply states “the man region is off limits at all times.” An intentional shot to the family jewels is forbidden universally in the male species. Therefore, Roy Hibbert’s claim towards Shane Battier is as real as it gets.
Late in the first quarter, Battier was driving to the rim when his knee collided with Hibbert’s…persona...
Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert took to his Twitter account Wednesday night to defend himself against fans’ criticism. Then on Thursday he accused Heat forward Shane Battier of dirty play.
MIAMI (AP) -- David West's right hand helped the Indiana Pacers grab home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference finals.
Roy Hibbert scored 29 points, West knocked away two passes by LeBron James for huge turnovers in the final minute, and the Pacers evened the East title series with a 97-93 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 2 of the series on Friday night.
It could have been the perfect matchup to cap an unforgettable game. LeBron James driving to the rim to face Roy Hibbert, one play to decide Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Alas, Hibbert was on the bench for the deciding moment.
And James made Miami's game-winner seem way too easy.
James blew past Paul George and made a layup as time expired, and the Heat found a...
I wouldn't be a good Celtics fan if I didn't take immense pleasure in the Heat losing or in the misery of their bandwagon fans. It's interesting to see after all the "We got Ray" chants to begin the year they seem to be having some buyer's remorse. Excuse me if I chuckle a bit. And I love how they end up trashing all their players. It's one...
