Royce White is sticking to not flying.credit: espn.com Recently, Royce White and the Houston Rockets finally came to an agreement to get White back on the court. The rookie has started in the D-League, where he is sticking to driving to all games to avoid his fear of flying. Even under drastic measures, White will not be flying. He would rather drive 34 hours in an RV, play the game, and turn around to take another 34 hour ride back. Via Ric Bucher: Royce White is making the 34-hour drive in an RV because of his anxiety issues to play this one game for the Vipers and then turning around and making the 34-hour drive right back. Seems a little crazy to travel a combined 68 hours in an RV to play in one D-League game, but at least Royce White is now making an effort for his relationship with the Rockets to work. After being a first round pick, White was away from the team for most of the season in a public dispute that seemed to be getting pretty ugly. -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter The post Royce White Taking 34 Hour RV Ride To Game appeared first on Pass The Pill.

Houston Rockets: Rockets Make Another Brilliant Move Bringing in Aaron Brooks

Darryl Morey strikes again. The Houston Rockets are expected to bring in Aaron Brooks. who was bought out by the Sacramento Kings late this week. Brooks brings exactly what the Rockets need, scoring off the bench and depth at guard. Brooks may not be a distributor and may be diminutive in size, but he knows how to score and should be an excellent addition to the team. After trading...

Donatas walk to pick up Motiejunas, run!

I admit I didn´t really know much about Donatas Motiejunas two weeks ago. Hell, nobdy knew much about him except his mother and the 3 members of his fan club but I read up on him and now I know lots of stuff! For starters, he´s just 22 years old and was born in Lithuania. He´s also really, really tall. Like 7´0 tall! That´s pretty damn tall! He´s also Houston´s new starting...

Aaron Brooks cut by Sacramento Kings, signed by Houston Rockets

The pipeline between the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings is still open. A week after a six-player trade that sent No. 5 pick Thomas Robinson to H-Town, the Kings bought out reserve -- and sometimes starting --point guard Aaron Brooks Friday. Brooks is expected to sign with his old team, the Houston Rockets, when he clears waivers early next week, Yahoo Sports' Adrian...

The Rockets stopped a two-game skid and ended a five-game losing streak to the Magic. Houston trailed by two late in the game, before using an 11-0 run to seize...

Monta Ellis Sinks a Dagger Against the Rockets

As a Houston Rockets fan this one kind of sucks, but as a fan of the game I have to appreciate the fact that this shot actually went in giving the Bucks the win over Houston Wednesday night, 110-107. Good job Monta Ellis. Good job.

Report: Rockets Will Sign Aaron Brooks

The Rockets are reportedly set to sign point guard, Aaron Brooks, who agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings Friday. Brooks was drafted twenty-sixth overall in the 2007 NBA draft by Houston where he played for three and half seasons before being traded to Phoenix. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Rockets-Magic Preview

The Houston Rockets are looking to put a couple of disappointing losses behind them. Doing so, however, could prove more difficult than usual with their star-studded backcourt banged up. James Harden and Jeremy Lin are considered game-time decisions for Friday night's road matchup against the woeful Orlando Magic. The Rockets (31-28) blew 17-point leads in each of their last...

Monta Ellis Game Winning Fade Away 3 Vs Houston Rockets (Video)

Milwaukee Bucks guard Monta Ellis nailed a game winning three pointer at the buzzer Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets.  Reminded me of pretty much every three pointer Reggie Miller took with his fade away style.   Bucks 110 Rockets 107   Wow. Since the All Star break, practically every contest has come down to the wire; the Bucks have been on the wrong side of the final tally. The last three have been decided by less than three points. Against Houston, the Bucks finally came out on top with a [...]
