Fans in Houston wished it would happen. After awhile they got tired of wishing and hoping and began to wonder if it ever will. Eventually they just flat out gave up and were glad when the Houston Rockets got rid of him, but now it has.

According to Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities on Twitter, the Wolves have interest in acquiring another wing before the regular season arrives. One name that he mentioned as a potential trade target is Philadelphia 76ers guard Evan Turner. The Sixers have made it clear the last couple of seasons that they were open […]
Evan Turner was defiant after scoring a game-high 23 points in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 127-97 preseason loss to the undermanned Brooklyn Nets in front of an alleged crowd of 6315 fans Monday night at the desolate Wells Fargo Center a game first-year Sixers coach Brett Brown called a “reality check” for a team most NBA analysts expect to be the worst in the league.
Despite some positive signs from the 76ers while the team was in Spain and England, we all know that the 76ers are in full tank mode and that the 2013-14 season (much like Monday night’s preseason game vs. Brooklyn) is going to be very difficult to watch.
If you are on the “Winless for Wiggins” bandwagon, as most of us here at Philadunkia are, then you have accepted that fact...
Daniel Orton is the newest member of the Philadelphia 76ers and might have his best shot at playing significant minutes since he left Kentucky.

The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Daniel Orton while waiving Tim Ohlbrecht.
Orton has played for the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City since entering the NBA in 2010 out of Kentucky.
Despite being a first round pick, Orton has played in just 29 career games.
The ending of A.I.’s career didn’t go smoothly, but it doesn’t take away the influence he had on the NBA and pop culture during his prime.
The Sixers will honor him during their home opener.

While a rumor is a rumor, and many rumors happen in sports, there are some reasons to believe the latest rumor out of Philadelphia. As rumor has it, the Philadelphia 76ers are willing to trade guard Evan Turner, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have some interest. While once again it bears repeating that this is simply […]
The Nets reserves ran all over the 76ers last night 127-97 and after the game, head coach Brett Brown summed up his analysis of the loss with this quote, “I feel like it was born out of a reality check.”
But if you have been paying attention so far this preseason, last night’s blow out loss to a significantly under-manned Nets squad was not a reality check. No, it was...
'THIS IS reality."
Those were the words of 76ers coach Brett Brown following his team's 127-97 thumping at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on Monday at the Wells Fargo Center. While the two organizations are headed in polar-opposite directions at the moment there were some frightening realizations brought to light in the 48 minutes of preseason action in front of what...
